My 2019 Blog Profile
Aloha everyone, my name is Skyla and I am a Year 8 attending Glen Taylor School. I am Maori, Nz European, German and Spanish. I am a ambivert at times but I try to be as loud and confident as much as possible. I am the only child out of my family but I love everyone dearly.I believe I am at good at reading and writing and average at math. I enjoy listening to different genres of music and love to read. My challenges in life and at school is mostly math and sometimes writing. My goals for this year is to be more confident at school and at home, get accepted into one of my ideal colleges and become better in all subject areas.I am looking forward to gaining new friendships, experiencing new subjects and many other things. Someone that inspires me is my cousin. He has taught me that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it and not to let others bad opinions get to you. I am excited to share my learning everyone to the world and meet others.

Water Experiment!
A week or so ago we did some experiments on water. We did a lot of different experiments like trying to balance a sewing needle on top of water and trying to see which cup will mix the food colouring faster. It was a pretty interesting out come on all off the experiments we did!

Technology
For technology, we have to decide whether to make a cake server or a pizza slicer. I decided to make a cake server. We first did all our work on a hard copy then transferred it to online. My cake server has a black handle and it is still going through the manufacturing process.

It also consists tropical fruits, rice, peas, pigeon peas, potatoes, and pork. Bahamian cuisine sounds healthy and I bet it is. A fact about the Bahamas the word Bahamas is derived from a Spanish word 'baja mar' which means 'low tide' or 'shallow water or sea'. The Bahamas is also best known for The Bahamas are famous for their scenic beauty and year-round tropical weather. They are one of the most visited tourist spots in the world.
